Silhouette Within Steel Vines
The Oriental Pied Hornbill is our conservation success story, due to its reintroduction with the help of National Parks Board’s artificial nests project. This juvenile hornbill, framed by the lattice of the Siloso cable car station, epitomises Singapore’s emphasis on the coexistence of man and nature.

About the photographer
I started my photography journey more than 6 years ago, initially to document sightings on nature walks. Wildlife photography soon branched out into other genres as I experimented with many different techniques, and today I also practice monochrome, street and landscape photography.
