About the photographer
Koon Peng began photography in 1979 and transitioned to digital photography in 2004. He holds ARPS and FPSS distinctions and served as Vice President of the Photographic Society of Singapore from 2015 to 2021. His first solo exhibition, A Fading Performing Art: Street Opera, was held in 2013. Named Photographer of the Year by Ngee Ann Kongsi in 2022, he has received over 100 local and international photography awards. His works have appeared in publications including Asiaweek, Lianhe Zaobao, and The Straits Times.
