A Flower Beneath the Tide
Not all flowers bloom on land. In the tranquil waters of Tanjong Rimau, Sentosa, an upside-down jellyfish unfurls its intricate, flower-like arms towards the morning sun, drawing nourishment from sunlight through the symbiotic algae living within its tissues. Beyond the water, the distant urban skyline stands in quiet contrast to this delicate marine wonder. Revealed by the morning low tide, this living underwater “blossom” offers a glimpse into Sentosa’s hidden biodiversity, reminding us that some of nature’s most extraordinary treasures lie just beneath the surface.
