Silhouette
I love capturing shadows and silhouettes. They bring out a different mood and feel to an otherwise ordinary photo. While the main subject may be obscured, that adds some mystery to the overall image.

About the photographer
I am a self-taught photographer. As a hobbyist, I have been doing photography for the past 40 years. From architecture to portraits, from events to weddings, I have done them all. Over time, I challenge myself by participating in photo contests. Not really to win awards, but rather to see if I am doing the right thing as well as learning from fellow participants. At the moment, I try to enjoy more travel photography as I move into retirement age.
