A Few Moments of Light
Early one morning, I travelled through heavy rain for 45 minutes towards Dead Horse Point State Park, uncertain whether the journey would be worthwhile. Just as I arrived, the storm began to clear, revealing the first rays of sunlight breaking through the clouds. Moments later, a magnificent rainbow appeared, perfectly framing the Colorado River’s sweeping bend amid the red rock canyons. This extraordinary scene lasted only briefly, reminding me how fleeting nature’s most beautiful moments can be. Sometimes, capturing a once-in-a-lifetime photograph simply comes down to perseverance, patience, and the willingness to venture out despite uncertain conditions.

About the photographer
I am a healer and a physician by day. I have always felt that our earth is under duress and it needs our help to heal and recover. I feel a deep sense of connection to nature, and the magnificent biodiversity of this planet. I love to capture the moment I am in and see if I can evoke a similar response from my audience. My mission is to tell visual stories that connect people to the essence of nature and the drama of this living planet.
