A Yawn through the Canopy
Nestled in the foliage, a drowsy colugo awakens with eyes of curiosity peering into a future world from the safety of its mother’s embrace. This parent-offspring pair was encountered at the base of Bukit Timah hill near the visitor centre. I initially thought the leaves surrounding the baby were distracting, but afterwards, I grew to like how dreamy it made the scene.
