Urban Migration
A flock of migratory egrets flies across Singapore’s Central Business District at sunset, creating a striking contrast between nature and the urban skyline. Located along the East Asian–Australasian Flyway, Singapore serves as an important stopover for migratory birds despite its highly developed landscape. As the birds crossed between the city’s towering buildings, their journey mirrored the daily movement of people below, highlighting how wildlife continues to navigate and adapt within shared urban spaces.

About the photographer
I am a Singapore-based wildlife and nature photographer with a passion for documenting birds, animals, and natural landscapes. While working full-time as a civil servant, I dedicate my free time to exploring nature and developing my photography skills. Through regular fieldwork, travel, competitions, and exhibitions, I have gained valuable experience capturing authentic wildlife behaviour and meaningful moments in the wild. My photography aims to showcase the beauty and diversity of nature while raising awareness of conservation. Through visual storytelling, I hope to inspire greater appreciation for wildlife and encourage others to value and protect the natural world for future generations.
