Silent Steps at Sunset
Arabian Red Foxes mate during winter, typically between December and January, with pups born in early spring after a gestation period of 50–55 days. By April, the young kits have opened their eyes, begun eating solid food, and started exploring outside their dens. Litters usually consist of two to five pups, which remain close to their burrows before gradually accompanying their mother on hunting trips. This brief period offers photographers an ideal opportunity to observe and capture their playful behaviour, as the kits are increasingly active and visible but have yet to venture far from the safety of their den.
